"Organizing Our "Hoods"
The great gals at the Woman Civic Chamber have enthusiastically
jumped in to help organize our village for our massive
planting of ONE MILLION Daffodil bulbs.

They have mapped out the area and divided it into sectors
that include your neighborhood.
In
each neighborhood they will find the person or team who
will volunteer to organize their block, or block of blocks.
This person or team will be known as the "Chief Bloom"
of this block.
If
you feel you are "Chief Bloom" material the
gals would LOVE you to contact them. You will be given
all the material you will need to organize your "Hood"!
All bulb orders must be in to Roger at Scott's Florist
no later than August 10th, 2010.
Roger will then place the order for ONE MILLION Daffodil
Bulbs to be delivered in early September and in the ground
they go…sounds like a block planting party to me!.
The village then explodes with yellow beauty in the spring
of 2011 and we celebrate with a festival! Too much FUN!

Hey Vermontville - you can now go to the Birch
Bark Deli to order your daffodils. Wouldn't it be great
to see Route 3 and all the side roads and houses filled
with daffodils next spring? Help Vermontville win the
